Miranda graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at Tyler. Miranda creates a safe and welcoming environment where her clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, values, and beliefs without judgement. Her passion is to help individuals feel empowered to grow in all aspects of their lives.

 

Her approach is collaborative and evidence-based, drawing from therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other approaches tailored to your individual needs. While she enjoys working with a wide variety of concerns, she has a particular passion for helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She also has a special interest in working with children and adolescents, helping them build emotional awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and navigate unique challenges that arise.

 

She believes that every person's story is unique, and together you’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you while building the tools and confidence to navigate life's challenges. Miranda’s hobbies include crafts, reading, singing, and spending time with friends and family.
