Janee Ramirez, MA
Janeé is a native Longview Texan and has lived almost everywhere else after graduating from LHS. She has lived in 6 different countries each with a different native language, including the US, and 3 different states within the US. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Biblical Studies from BIOLA University and a Masters of School Counseling from UT at Tyler. Janeé furthered her education through Letourneau University to gain LPC licensure.
Janee is a trauma informed therapist, who is trained in EMDR therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, and MI with diverse experience working with kids as young as 5 years and adults well into their retirement life phase. Janeé is energized by learning from and appreciating other cultures and languages, and this also fuels her passion to become more culturally sensitive, diverse, better educated and informed within her own thinking and world perspective. She desires to understand people more fully as they relate within themselves and with others, so that she may be able to best guide them in their personal journey and help them realize their hopes and manifest their goals. Janeé’s approach to therapy is directed at unearthing the client’s whole self by nurturing every aspect: professionally, academically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. By implementing an integrative approach to mental health and well-being, it guarantees every aspect of the client is cultivated to exhume the masterpiece of the client’s wholly healed self.
