Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in religious studies at Oklahoma State University in 2001. In 2006, Josh also earned a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary. Josh has served as a student pastor for almost 20 years in various churches across the country. In 2015 he felt God was calling him to a new chapter in life to serve as a hospice chaplain. Through his chaplaincy experience, he witnessed firsthand the reality of addiction, grief, depression, trauma, and anxiety. This motivated him to seek a Master's in Clinical Mental Health at the University of Texas at Tyler, where his anticipated graduation date is May of 2023. Because of his past experiences, he enjoys working with individuals from adolescence to senior citizens and everyone in between. In addition, Josh enjoys reading, spending time with his friends and family, watching movies, and playing movie trivia.
