Jerrica Maxey

LPC - Associate

Jerrica Maxey, an East Texas native, earned her Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from Stephen F. Austin State University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. With five years of experience serving sexual assault survivors at a rape crisis center in East Texas, Jerrica has provided vital support and advocacy for survivors of sexual trauma and other violent crimes. She is deeply passionate about working with individuals impacted by trauma and connects with clients of all ages, including children ages 8 and up. Jerrica values the culture and diversity of individuals, ensuring that she is respectful and inclusive of each client's unique background and experiences. She fosters a safe, supportive space for healing, helping each client feel heard, understood, and empowered in their recovery journey.

Jerrica’s approach is client-centered and emphasizes building trust and resilience, whether she is working with individuals, couples, or families. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, embarking on spontaneous road trips, and cheering on her children at their extracurricular events. Jerrica is currently under the supervision of Dr. Melanie Roudkovski, LPC-S.
